I'm new. What are these?

Resources

PoE Wiki - THE Wiki for the game. Contains all information regarding the game and it's mechanics. General resource for knowledge.

poe.ninja - A site that tracks pricing trends throughout the leagues. A great quick reference to price ballpark on all non-rare items and currencies to see exactly what you have before you throw it away or hold onto it for too long.

poe.trade - In my opinion a non-optional resource. Poe.trade is the cyber swapmeet for all PoE players and their buying/selling/trading needs. Spend some time learning how the site works, you'll be using it a lot.

poelab.com - A site that tracks the Labyrinth. Here you will see a complete layout of each Lab (Normal/Cruel/Merciless/Uber), what each room contains, and where the entrances/exits are for each room. Updated daily. Incredible resource.

Vendor Recipes - Just a quick link to every vendor recipe in the game for reference purposes as you play.

Mapping Wiki - Just a quick link to every map and it's rating for layout, sextant coverage, and boss difficulty reference as you plan your Atlas or make your mapping more efficient.

PoE Reddit - Link to the PoE Reddit community.

Official Forum - Self explanatory. This is where you'll be viewing a giant percentage of your builds.

PoE Affix - A list of item prefixes and suffixes per item type. Mostly useful when crafting items.

Utilities

Path of Building - A third party skill tree planner that also includes a full item suite and complete stats. An invaluable tool once you start playing around with the passive tree and finding how to strengthen your character. Also a great learning tool for seeing how other builds are put together, and what is most effective.

Neversink's Loot Filter - This is a game changer and recommend it for every single player. A loot filter will only show you what you "want" to see. When you have a giant screen full of nonsense items that you'll never pick up, Neversink's Loot Filter gets rid of those, showing only items that are worth your time to pick up. Also a great learning tool to see what's "valuable"/worth picking up. Very customizable.

PoE Builder - A browser-based skill planner. Absolute universes better than the official skill tree planner (sorry GGG, I still love you). PoBuilding recommended overall, but this is nice if you need browser-based.

Mercury Trade - Such a great tool for trading. Gives you an overlay that alerts you when someone is contacting you to purchase what you have for sale with buyer name and league, item desired, price, and hotkeys for auto-replying and inviting/trading. Amazing tool if you trade a lot. Lots and lots of other functions, too!

Trade Macro - Great tool for checking prices of, well, anything. Plugs "directly" into poe.trade and allows you to set parameters while searching for value of an item or similar items you may be interested in purchasing. Requires an additional program IIRC. Read the Readme.

Vorici Calculator - A tool for giving you an idea of how many chromatic orbs it will take to get your desired socket color combination, and in a variety of ways. Handy.
